I have been making pumpkin martinis for years on the mainland once I discovered pumpkin liqueur in the stores. However, my search for it on in Hawaii was unsuccessful so I decided to make my own and to my surprise, it turned out pretty good. I added a couple new ingredients, such as Fallernum to give it a tiki flare and Frangelico to add some hazelnut flavor. The pumpkin puree and the juices used made the color a great Halloween orange. This "spirit" was debuted (with a full moon that night) at a"monster bash"on Halloween Eve and it was a "graveyard smash!"
1 shot vodka
1 shot homemade pumpkin liqueur
1 shot POG (passion, orange, guava)
1 jigger Fallernum
1 jigger Frangelico
squeeze of a fresh 🍊 orange
Mix all ingredients in a shaker and pour into a pumpkin pie spiced rim martini glass.
It was so nice meeting and spending some time with Monika and Brian’s niece Danielle, who was visiting from the mainland.
